Roost: Week of 3/13

I’ve got some gigantic chicken wings that’ll start our mid-March week off right, and then we’ll roll into a week full of returning hits and some new test balloons like rice pilaf and Pappa al Pomodoro, a Tuscan soup containing tomatoes, garlic, bread and basil. I’m also really looking forward to trying my hand once again at falafel, a recipe I love to work at but haven’t quite got all the way satisfied with.

As we head into spring break, we’re getting ready to start food truck fridays at the school! For Big Bird BBQ fans, we’ve got some big changes coming this year thanks to the great experiences and learning from our days here at the school, and your first look at them will come on food truck fridays.
